Registration for this event closes at Tue 23 Jun 2026 19:00.

Race around Broken Hill from clues leading to the next locations. Start at the Scout Hall at 6:30 pm then follow the clues at each location to reach the final destination. Walk from the final destination to McDonalds for refreshments. Pick up at McDonalds at 8:30 pm.

Method of transport to and from the activity:
Scouts to be dropped off at the Scout Hall and Picked up from MacDonalds. Scouts will walk the designated route from the Scout Hall to MacDonalds.

BEHAVIOUR & PARTICIPATION EXPECTATIONS

Behaviour standards
This event will be using the patrol system and buddy system. Participants are required to stay with the group, with the exception of needing to use the amentiies, in this situation, they must go with a buddy and ensure that the patrol leader is aware of their whereabouts.

All participants are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully at all times, in accordance with the Scouts Code of Conduct, the Scout Promise and Law, and relevant federal and state laws.

Participants may be sent home in the case of non-compliance with the expected standards of behavior.


EQUIPMENT & CLOTHING

Participants must bring
Drink bottle & be in Scout Uniform. 

Must wear enclosed shoes for walking

Need to bring a torch, as it will be night when the event finishes.


Responsibility for personal items is the sole responsibility of the participant and/or their parent/guardian. Under no circumstances will Leaders be responsible for safe keeping, loss or damage to items.
