Weekend camp at Penrose Park, Silverton. Day activities include bushwalking, hike, visiting local attractions, scouting skills activities, camp cooking, camping.

Age-specific supervision requirements
Standard child protection procedures followed for Scout Section aged participants. Male and female youth members separated during use of amenities and camping zones.

Nil
Participants not permitted to leave the event and return, they are required to stay for the entire event. Emergency / medical evacuation is the only reason for participants to leave the site.
HEALTH, SAFETY & HYGIENE

Participants should not attend if they are unwell or showing symptoms of illness.
Participants may be sent home if they become unwell during the event.
BEHAVIOUR & PARTICIPATION EXPECTATIONS
Behaviour standards
This event will be using the patrol system and buddy system. Participants are required to stay with the group, with the exception of needing to use the amenities, in this situation, they must go with a buddy and ensure that the patrol leader is aware of their whereabouts.
All participants are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully at all times, in accordance with the Scouts Code of Conduct, the Scout Promise and Law, and relevant federal and state laws.
Participants may be sent home in the case of non-compliance with the expected standards of behavior.

Responsibility for personal items is the sole responsibility of the participant and/or their parent/guardian. Under no circumstances will Leaders be responsible for safe keeping, loss or damage to items.

Tents, swags, located in a defined area at Penrose Park.
Arrival and departure instructions
Leave Hall - 5:30 pm, Friday 27th March. Return to Hall – 4:00 pm, Sunday 29th March.
WITHDRAWAL & REFUND POLICY
Refund conditions
Refund available for withdrawal due to illness or family emergencies.
Non-refundable circumstances
Late withdrawal due to disinterest.
