Only leaders, scout troop members and adult helpers are invited.

Participants must not leave until the event is completed and their parents have arrived to pick their youth up.


HEALTH, SAFETY & HYGIENE

Participants should not attend if they are unwell or showing symptoms of illness.

If participants who become unwell during the event will have their parents contacted to come and pick them up.


BEHAVIOUR & PARTICIPATION EXPECTATIONS

Behaviour standards
This event will be using the buddy system. Participants are required to stay with the group at all times during the event.

All participants are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully at all times, in accordance with the Scouts Code of Conduct, the Scout Promise and Law, and relevant federal and state laws.

Participants may be sent home in the case of non-compliance with the expected standards of behavior.


EQUIPMENT & CLOTHING

Participants must bring

Uniform including scarf and hat

They must wear closed in shoes AND socks. (Preferably hiking boots, but not essential).

Water bottle with suffient water in it to last the duration of the event.

Torch

 

Participants must NOT bring

A mobile phone or any toys, these will confiscated and returned upon collection of the youth at the end of the event


Responsibility for personal items is the sole responsibility of the participant and/or their parent/guardian. Under no circumstances will Leaders be responsible for safe keeping, loss or damage to items.
